As a In the D Construction client, you’ll embark on what we proudly call the In the D Construction Experience—a dedicated, collaborative journey tailored to you. From the first conversation to project completion, our team will guide you with clarity and care every step of the way. Open communication is at the heart of our process, allowing us to deliver exceptional craftsmanship, seamless execution, and a design that is truly personal.
Outlined below are the steps you can expect to take on your journey from concept to completion.
During our initial consultation, we’ll explore the overall style and scope of your project in a relaxed, low-pressure setting. Our team will listen closely to your needs, review any inspiration you’ve gathered, and begin shaping a clear path forward—providing thoughtful guidance on design direction, timeline, and budget.
After gathering the necessary information and establishing a preliminary scope of work, In the D Construction will provide a complimentary project estimate of anticipated costs. Subject to adjustments for any additions or alterations, this amount is intended for budgetary purposes and will be finalized at the conclusion of design development.
Following thorough review of your project estimate and initial scope of work, we’ll run through any additional questions you may have concerning overall scope and cost. Once preliminary project parameters are agreed upon and you’d like us to officially come on board and we are ready to start work, we will execute our standard renovation contract and ask for a deposit representing an agreed upon percentage of the total project estimate.
We then take periodic draws throughout the construction phase of the project.
Once the project is underway, we enter the design and selections phase of the project. We work closely with you the customer, your designer, architect, etc. to finalize design plans and select materials to ensure we are all on the same page regarding aesthetic and functional choices.
In the D Construction then obtains any and all permits required by the local building department.
In the D Construction and your project manager coordinate and supervise the renovation work, managing subcontractors and performing quality checks.
Throughout the construction phase, we have regular communication and meetings throughout the project to ensure the project goes smoothly.
Post construction, our project manager will connect with you to review the completed project. Any open queries or additional needs will be addressed at this time. Our goal is to ensure you’re 100% satisfied with the finished product.
Once satisfied with the final inspection and all punch list items are complete, In the D Construction obtains all final inspections from the city, obtains final documentation of project completion and then request the final project draw.
Even after your project is completed, our partnership continues. We encourage our clients to contact us with questions or feedback at any point should a need arise. Your renovation is backed by a 12 month a warranty as outlined in our standard renovation contract. We take pride in knowing our quality craftsmanship is part of your home, and we are committed to providing long-term support and aftercare to maintain its beauty and functionality for years to come.
